Wisp Login Issues? A Quick Troubleshooting Guide

Locked out of your journal is a frustrating place to be. Most Wisp login issues have quick fixes — work down this list in order and you’ll likely be back in within a minute or two.

1. Check the basics first

• Email typos. Confirm you’re using the exact email you signed up with.
• Caps Lock / autofill. Passwords are case-sensitive; a stray Caps Lock or a wrong saved password is the most common culprit.
• Right method. If you signed up with Google, use Continue with Google — not an email/password login (the password may never have been set).

2. Reset your password

If the password won’t take:

1. On the login screen, choose Forgot password?
2. Enter your account email and submit.
3. Open the reset email from Wisp and follow the link.
4. Set a new, strong password and log in.

No reset email after a minute? Check your spam/junk folder, make sure you entered the correct address, then request it again.

3. Fix email verification

If you just signed up and can’t get in, your email may not be verified yet. Open the verification message from Wisp and click the link. If it expired, trigger a new one from the sign-in screen and try again.

4. Rule out connection and app issues

• Check your internet connection — signing in needs network access.
• Update the app to the latest version, or refresh the web page.
• Clear cache / try another browser if the web app misbehaves.
• Restart the app to clear a stuck session.

5. Google sign-in not working?

• Make sure you’re signed into the correct Google account in your browser.
• Allow any pop-up the sign-in flow opens.
• If a pop-up blocker interferes, disable it for the Wisp site and retry.
